What is the process for booking Wedding Photography?

Connect with me here and I'll get to know a bit more about you and your big day. If you think we're a great fit, I'll send over the contract followed up by an invoice and deposit to secure your date. A few months before the wedding, we'll have a meeting to discuss any details and the timeline. The day of, just relax and enjoy! You'll receive your sneak peek photos within 48 hours and the full online gallery within 6-8 weeks.

How do you describe your photogrpahy & editing style?

I love images that are inviting, candid, and timeless, with gentle guidance and direction for portraits and group photos. My goal is to capture the true moments of the day.

Editing is one of my favourite parts of photography! It’s the part of the experience where the perfectionist in me thrives. I love sitting down after a shoot, rolling up my sleeves, and getting to work on bringing out the magic in the images.

Do you have any formal education in photography?

Yes! I have a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Photography. Whilst obtaining my degree, I took a number of photography classes from film to digital. I learned about the history of photography and experimental photographic practices. I spent years learning how to expertly wield light and shadow. I created hand-bound photo books, experimented with cyanotypes, and developed film by hand.

What is film photography?

Film photography is the process of capturing images on light-sensitive film instead of digital sensors. Light enters the camera, exposing the film, which is then chemically developed to reveal the image. Film photography provides unique aesthetic qualities that can't be replicated digitally, like natural grain and rich colours.

It also requires specific skills and knowledge, as well as thoughtful shooting since results aren’t instant. With a limited amount of images per roll, each photo is one of a kind.
